Every wedding is different and individual, and to truly reflect the true character of any wedding, a photographer needs to be not just a skilful shooter, but great at building relationships, working with groups of people, and most of all, they need to be adaptable.
We don’t believe in having one particular style and making every wedding fit into the way we shoot. That is not fair on anyone. Some photographers claim to be candid specialists, or photojournalists, or classical shooters. Truth be told, to cover a wedding properly, we need to be a bit of all of those things, as well as a portrait photographer, landscape photographer, fashion photographer and children’s photographer. We use different styles of shooting for different parts of the day.
There are times during the day where we are candid shooters, or photojournalists capturing a moment. At other times, we need to transform into fashion photographers or portrait shooters to get those classic pictures that clients want to put in an album. Then occasionally we need to step in and create a beautiful piece of art that will adorn a wall in your home forever. Every wedding is different and we will adapt our style to suit your wedding and the kind of coverage and images you want to finish with. Often the shooting style will evolve on the day, led by how your wedding plays out throughout the day and night, so that we can best capture the event.
